About ISUOG and Ultrasound Essentials

The International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology (ISUOG) is a leading global organisation we’ve worked with since 2010. ISUOG is dedicated to improving women’s health through advanced education and research in ultrasound.
The 2025 edition of this annual virtual education event, jointly run with the Fetal Medicine Foundation (FMF), was designed as an accessible, interactive virtual 2-day course aimed at providing fundamental ultrasound skills to healthcare professionals working in lower-resource countries, as defined by research4life.
With a diverse international audience and complex content delivery needs, ISUOG turned to BeThere Global for end-to-end event management and technical production.

Our role and approach

Event platform design and access control

We created and implemented a platform offering advanced interactivity and reliable performance to meet ISUOG’s virtual education requirements. Key features included customised registration with geo-blocking to prevent access from higher resource countries, branded event session pages (convertible to on-demand), speaker galleries and a sponsor resources section.

Pre-recorded and live session management

We collaborated with ISUOG’s 51 speakers from 30 countries to enhance pre-recorded lectures, ensuring polished, high-quality content. Across the two-day virtual event, live sessions featured interactive Q&A segments, moderated discussions, and polls to keep the audience engaged and involved. Our technical team managed all transitions, ensuring a flawless experience for both speakers and attendees.

Real-time technical support

Our event producers and technicians provided real-time support throughout the event, from briefing speakers to managing live Q&A sessions and immediately addressing technical issues. This ensured minimal disruption and a professional event flow.

Post-event delivery

We edited and optimized each session recording and made it available on-demand within an hour of each live session’s conclusion. This extends the event’s value, enabling ISUOG to reach even more participants – on-demand access will be available for six months.

  • Polished delivery: The combination of pre-recorded and live content ensured both high production value and real-time interaction, creating an engaging and educational virtual event for all participants.
  • Global reach and longevity: the live event saw 3,119 participants. Four months on, a total of 8,874 people from 135 countries have registered to access the event live or on demand.
